“We’re making it easy for the modern traveller to make responsible and sustainable choices, leaving them with a feeling of conscious comfort and calm” Westworks Interiors are working on the design of the UK’s first net zero carbon hotel scheme. 142 bedrooms and a ground floor with guest lounges, bar, restaurant, gym and meeting/ work space, the furniture and finishes all have robustness at their core, but with the overriding sustainability requirements of the project front and centre. Designing a ‘mindfully modern’, conscious brand is one that is exciting and continually evolving. With new construction techniques and demanding sustainability requirements, the scheme is really pushing the boundaries of design to its limits, and yet, as a team, we have still achieved a beautiful, calm interior design solution. One that future guests will be extremely happy to be a part of.
